About the Boehringer Cares Program
The Boehringer Ingelheim Cares Patient Assistance Program (Boehringer Cares Program), operated by the Boehringer Ingelheim Cares Foundation, provides free prescription medications to eligible individuals.

Eligibility Requirements for Boehringer Cares Program
To qualify for the Boehringer Cares Program, you must meet the following criteria:
Eligibility Criteria of Program
Residency
Must reside in the U.S. or a U.S. territory and be treated as an outpatient by a U.S.-licensed healthcare provider.
Coverage Requirements
No health insurance, or
Insurance does not cover Boehringer Ingelheim medications, or
Medicare patients who cannot afford their medications and are not eligible for Medicare’s Extra-Help Program (LIS).
No access to alternate funding sources (e.g., Medicaid, VA benefits).
Income Requirements
Group 1 Medications (200% FPL):
Atrovent® HFA, Spiriva® Respimat, Combivent® Respimat, and others.
1-person household: $30,120 (48 states), $37,620 (Alaska), $34,620 (Hawaii)
4-person household: $62,400 (48 states), $78,000 (Alaska), $71,760 (Hawaii)
Group 2 Medications (250% FPL):
Jardiance®, Tradjenta®, Glyxambi®, and others.
1-person household: $37,650 (48 states), $47,025 (Alaska), $43,275 (Hawaii)
4-person household: $78,000 (48 states), $97,500 (Alaska), $89,700 (Hawaii)

Gather required supporting documentation, including:
Proof of income (e.g., recent tax return, Social Security statement, or pay stubs).
A copy of a valid prescription for the medication(s) you are applying for.
Proof of U.S. residency (e.g., government-issued ID, utility bill).
